Ten years ago, during a catastrophe that almost destroyed the world, Emiya Shirou was rescued by the magician Emiya Kiritsugu and became his adopted son. In the so-called "Holy Grail War", the winner can obtain the Holy Grail to realize any wish. As a result, seven magicians and seven "heroic spirits" joined the fight to create a miracle. Emiya Shirou knew that the catastrophe ten years ago was caused by the "Holy Grail War". In order to prevent the tragedy from happening again, he and his "heroic spirit" Sabar devoted themselves to this "Holy Grail War" that was full of danger and hardship.
