In 1614, Tokugawa Ieyasu was 73 years old. He must choose an heir to his shogunate between his two sons. Tokugawa Ieyasu, who had difficulty making a decision, left the decision-making power to the two major ninjutsu sects that were evenly matched at the time, namely Koga-ryu and Iga-ryu. Under the mediation of the predecessor Hattori Hanzo, the two once-incompatible families signed a "no-war treaty", but under the provocation of power and politics, the treaty was torn up. Each family sends ten ninjas, and they have to kill each other until only one party survives, and the person supported by the surviving party can become the next generation of generals. Among them, the leader of Koga-ryu, Koga Gennosuke (voiced by Kosuke Toriumi) and the leader of Iga-ryu, Hagi (voiced by Mizuki Nana), were lovers in love before the war.
