In the back alleys of the downtown area, ordinary high school student Fujishima Narumi (voiced by Matsuoka Zhencheng) witnessed an unexpected incident. Not long ago, his classmate Ayaka took him to the "Hanamaru Ramen Shop" where she worked part-time. Here, he unexpectedly met the three "suspicious characters" that day - Pachinko master Zhe, the "military otaku" Major and the handsome Hong Ge. The three called themselves "NEET detectives". Just when Narumi was confused, he came to the "NEET Detective Agency" by mistake and met a strange girl Alice (voiced by Ogura Yui). Alice seems to be living at home, but in fact she is a highly skilled network hacker. She uses her ability to accept commissions and becomes a NEET detective. After meeting by chance, Narumi became Alice's assistant to help investigate the incident. Can this ordinary high school student with no sense of existence play a role in the NEET detective team? Narumi, who once didn't want to have too much contact with others, will form a bond with Alice and everyone in the NEET tribe?
