The OVA animation released on March 22, 2006 was jokingly called by players as the OVA where you get animation when you buy a special music CD. There is almost nothing in this world except the giant tower Artonelico and some floating continents. The entire Soul Shell is a completely enclosed space with no sky or ocean. There are two opposing forces in Soul Shell, the "Elmiremir Church" and the "Tianba". The Church of Elmiremir worships the God of Poetry, and their goal is to create an ideal country, while the Tianba masters extremely high science and technology, and their goal is to establish a scientific and civilized society. In Soul Shell, there is also a race that runs through the entire game plot. This race is called "Revatier". This race has the powerful power to turn thoughts into poems...
