Kino's Journey

Kino (Maeda Ai Dubbed) is a traveler who travels around the world. Her partner is called "Elumes", a talking motorcycle. Kino and Elumes traveled to various countries, staying in the country for only three days at a time to learn about the country's customs and customs. After three days, she left for another place. Kino was originally a girl with an unknown name in the "Land of Adults". This country stipulates that children must undergo surgery to become "adults" at the age of 12. Because she was influenced by the traveler Kino, she did not want to become an "adult", so she fled her country on Elumes and began to travel around the country in the name of Kino... This work is an alternative fantasy fable, telling the story of Kino's travels in the form of a unit drama. The audience follows Kino as he travels to various countries. Behind the seemingly absurd customs in each country is the author's thinking and questioning about his own world. This animation is adapted from the light novel "Kino's Journey" by Keiichi Shigurezawa.
