Ordinary office worker Takebayashi Ryoma (Azusa Tadokoro) Dubbing) has hardly lived a comfortable life for a day, and at the age of 39, he is still alone, working hard for a greedy boss in a sinister company. Finally, in the cramped and damp single apartment, his life came to an end. However, when Ryoma opened his eyes again, he found that he had been reincarnated into a different world and became an 8-year-old boy. Compared with the dangerous real society, life in the other world is hard but full of fun. Ryoma lives in the forest and studies how to use magic to tame wild slimes. In this world, Ryoma quickly made friends with the cheerful daughter Aralia (voiced by Yuki Kuwahara), Duke Reinhardt (voiced by Daisuke Ono) who likes to dance with swords, and the kind and enthusiastic Warcraft user Alyssa (voiced by Saori Hayami).
