Masaharu Kawamori, who is famous for designing famous mechas including the "Macross" series, and Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the demon designer in "Devilman", both contributed their talents to the design of the mecha. The ice-covered planet Coldfoot is home to a precious, energy-rich ore called "sig."
