Detective Conan: The Sunflower of Karma

At an art auction held in Manhattan, the United States, Van Gogh's handwritten copy of the Sunflower Series No. 2 painting, which was once thought to have been destroyed by air raids in World War II, made a stunning appearance. Suzuki Jirokichi (voiced by Tomita Gengsheng), a consultant to the wealthy Suzuki Consortium, took the opportunity to acquire it at a sky-high price of US$300 million. At a subsequent press conference, Suzuki announced that it would gather sunflower paintings scattered in the hands of collectors around the world to hold a dream exhibition in Japan. To this end, he hired seven experts including Mouri Kogoro (voiced by Riki Koyama), exhibition planning manager Keiko Anderson (voiced by Ryoko Sakakihara), and painting appraiser Natsumi Miyadai (voiced by Nana Eikura) to form a "Seven Samurai" team to escort the exhibition. Unexpectedly, Kaitou Kidd (voiced by Yamaguchi Kappei) had locked onto the painting from the beginning.
