High school student Sato Kazuma (voiced by Jun Fukushima) loves everything related to the second dimension. He is a typical otaku who squats at home, but he was unfortunately killed in a traffic accident during a rare day out in a century. What Sato didn't expect was that he and the goddess Aqua (voiced by Amamiya Amamiya), who was supposed to guide him in reincarnation, traveled to the different world of Axel City, where they must rely on their own hands to create wealth in order to survive. Megumin, a cute magician with a fiery personality (voiced by Takahashi Rei), Darkness, a daughter with strange attributes (voiced by Kayano Ai), thief Kris (voiced by Suwa Ayaka), Wiz (voiced by Horie Yui) who runs a magic prop shop but has no business acumen, and Sato, who had no friends in the previous world, gained precious friendship here.
