In the quiet and peaceful forest, Kino (voiced by Maeda Ai) and his master spend their days together. She cleaned and maintained their forest hut according to her master's instructions. During this period, she learned to use various firearms, improve shooting skills, or operate a motorcycle. People often come to visit the master. Although Kino is curious, he seems to be more content with his current state of life. Until one day, when she went to the river to fetch water, she met a male traveler. His words aroused Kino's yearning for the outside world. She expressed her willingness to travel to the master, but the master did not stop her. Instead, he encouraged her to venture out of the forest bravely. Just remember, nothing lasts forever. Kino's extraordinary and long journey begins. She never knows what is waiting ahead, but who will stop exploring because of this? This film is adapted from the original work by Keiichi Shigurezawa.
