Stand-in: Cause and Effect

On a sunny day, a beautiful girl wearing an eyepatch on her left eye was approached. The girl coldly told the terrifying legend about the doppelgänger. Soon, a girl who also wore an eyepatch and looked exactly like her came over, scaring the boy and running away. It turns out that the latecomer is Mizaki Ming (voiced by Takamori Natsumi), and the mischievous girl is her twin sister Misaki (voiced by Igarashi Yumi) who has been separated since childhood. Two sisters with different personalities play together and tell their truest feelings about their life experience and blood relationship. What worried Mizaki was that in her left eye she could vaguely see an ominous sign that was about to happen to Misaki. On the way to the amusement park the next day, she hoped to protect Misaki no matter what. A happy but short day for the sisters... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Yukito Ayatsuji.
