Chernobyl Spring

In the early morning of April 26, 1986, the No. 4 reactor of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant near Pripyat, Ukraine, exploded. The initial steam explosion killed two people, and the high-energy radiation released in the accident caused more serious harm. The number of casualties is still countless. In another spring of 2008, cartoonist Emmanuel came here by train, preparing to go deep into the quarantine area and use his brush to record his two months of life in this land that still left deep wounds. On the 32nd anniversary of the Chernobyl incident, we bring you "Chernobyl Spring" to commemorate the victims of the past accident.
