Jiangnan

The film tells the story of a naughty alley boy named Ah Lang who accidentally entered the Jiangnan Manufacturing Bureau in Shanghai at the end of the Qing Dynasty and became an apprentice, thus beginning his wonderful life adventure. Under the earnest guidance of his master Chen Tiehan, Ah Lang devoted himself to learning machine-making skills and gradually grew into a top machine-craftsman. Faced with the constant entanglement of enemy spies, he created important domestic ordnance through self-improvement and perseverance.
