Ming Ji

The "Ming Ji" series is about youth, friendship, and budding love. Currently, 3 short animations have been released. The story takes place in a small city in China in the 1990s, about the budding feelings of an ordinary high school boy. In order to get the photos of the girls he likes, he and his friends pretended to steal the girls' photos. Later, he secretly drew a portrait of a girl. He encountered twists and turns on the way to deliver it, but he happened to meet her downstairs at her home. With the end of the college entrance examination, the story between them has not come to a complete end, but the memory of the bitter secret love will always remain in the boy's heart... The "Ming Ji" series of short films created by L-KEY Studio, with its natural and fresh narrative style and beautiful images, has evoked many people's memories of the green love in their youth. In 2008, "Ming Ji" won a number of animation awards including the Best Short Film Award at the 5th Golden Dragon Award, the China Special Award at Japan's 2008 TBS Digicon6 Animation Competition, the Bronze Award for the Short Film and the Best Director Award at the 2008 National College Student Original Animation Competition, and became the first online animation support object of the "Original Animation Support Plan" of the Chinese Ministry of Culture.
