Episode 1 and 2 content: King Sombra once ruled the Crystal Kingdom on the edge of Equestria, bringing endless suffering. He was later defeated by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, turned into a shadow, and was exiled. A thousand years later, King Sombra returned and wanted to rule the Crystal Kingdom again. The eldest princess hopes that Twilight Sparkle and her party will protect the Crystal Kingdom from another attack by King Sombra. They overcame many difficulties and obstacles to protect the Crystal Kingdom and restore life there again.
