Metamorphosis of Youth

The 13-year-old girl Xiaomei (voiced by Jiang Jinan) grew up in a typical Asian family. The family runs an ancestral hall that is open to the public as a tourist attraction, and the ancestors of the family are enshrined in the ancestral hall. Xiaomei's mother (played by Sandra Oh) is a caring and slightly neurotic woman who cares about her children. In front of her mother, Xiaomei always plays the role of a good girl. But in fact, Xiaomei, like all children of the same age, is naughty and active, and has begun to become interested in the opposite sex. In school, the three girls who play best with Xiao Mei are Priya (voiced by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), Miriam (voiced by Ava Morse) and Abby (voiced by Park Hye-in). The four of them are fans of the popular idol singer group 4Town. In an accident, Xiaomei transformed into a red panda under tremendous pressure, thus revealing the secrets hidden in her family.
