Marcel the shell wearing shoes

Adapted from the online short series by Dean Fleischer-Camp and Jenny Slate, Dean personally directed and starred as a human documentary director also named Dean. He moves into an Airbnb rental and finds that there are already guests in it - a shell animal Marcel, his grandmother Connie, and his pet: a piece of fluff named Alan. Marcel is voiced by Jenny Slate and Connie is voiced by Isabella Rossellini. Marcel and Connie were originally members of a large shell family, but due to a mysterious tragic event, they now live alone. Dean began photographing their daily lives, which quickly became popular on the Internet, and the lives of two shells and one person were forever changed. Can this incident help Marcel find his lost family?
