On a peaceful rainy night in 1983, the family of Fukushima City Councilor Mikura was murdered, and his 12-year-old second daughter became the only survivor. The boyfriend of the murdered eldest daughter was arrested as a murderer and disappeared after being released. Fifteen years later in Tokyo, Oba Minako (played by Miho Nakayama), who works in Orchid Garden, and her boyfriend Hamasaki Keiichiro (played by Toru Nakamura) are about to get married. With only vague memories of her childhood, she always believed that her family was killed in a car accident. Before moving to a new home, Shinako sorted out an anonymous love letter from her childhood, agreeing that they would meet in the sleeping forest of her hometown when she was 27 years old. Shinako, who went to the appointment alone, met a young man named Naoki Ito (played by Takuya Kimura) in the forest, who actually knew everything about her life for 15 years. After returning to Tokyo, Shinako found that Naoki's ghost lingered around him. What frightened her even more was that cracks appeared in the childhood memories she once believed in, and the illusion of a peaceful life was completely broken.
