"Takahashi-kun of the Bicycle Shop" tells the love story between Tomoko Iino, a 30-year-old company employee born in Tokyo, and a gangster who likes to take care of others. Tomoko, who lives alone in Gifu, is not good at interacting with others and cannot clearly express her opinions. She is also subjected to subtle sexual harassment by her boss at the company and leads a troubled life every day. One day, while riding her bicycle on the street, she met Takahashi Ryohei, who ran a nearby bicycle shop, because she lost her chain.
