Rika Inaba (played by Yui Aragaki), who works at Teito TV, was once considered a promising newcomer. However, because of his too tough work attitude, many disputes arose during interviews and he was cast as a non-prime time director. Because he was ordered to do a special episode on uniforms, he went to the Public Relations Office of the Self-Defense Forces Staff Headquarters for an interview, and met Daisuke Sorai (played by Go Ayano), a former fighter pilot. Because of a foot injury in a drunk driving accident, he had to be transferred to the public relations department. Inaba believes that being able to unearth explosive news about Sorai will be an opportunity for her to return to front-line work in the TV station, but her tough attitude will definitely arouse Sorai's resentment. The Public Relations Department also has a group of people with eccentric personalities: the follow-up director Shoji Sagisaka (played by Shibata Kyohei), the beautiful girl Noriko Yuzuki (played by Miki Mizuno), Lusaka's number one fan Hiroki Maki (played by Tsutomu Takahashi), the number two fan Katayama (played by Jun Kaname), and Sorai's instructor Higa. Surrounded by these people, can Inaba and Sorai pass this interview, get out of the predicament, and challenge their dreams again?
