11 Degrees of Youth - "Hey"

A boy (played by Xu Tao) and a girl (played by Feng Danying) from Henan and Guizhou respectively are a pair of drifters from Beijing. As extras, they met on a certain crew and started chatting. The honest and dull boy hopes to make money to buy a house, while the fun-loving girl hopes to eventually open her own brokerage company. The two hit it off immediately and were in and out of multiple production crews at the same time, often saying "Hey" to each other. Vaguely, there seemed to be some kind of different kind of affection growing in each other's hearts. On the way home one night, the girl learned that the boy had a girlfriend in his hometown, and she looked disappointed. They never saw each other again. The boy only heard that the girl had hooked up with the assistant director. There is no beginning and no end. The boy's life as a North drifter continues until he meets again...
