14 Nights

In 1987, a remote town in Japan. 14-year-old junior high school student Takashi (played by Naoki Inukai) lives a boring every day. The father (played by Mitsuishi Ken) is indecisive, bad and annoying. The beautiful sister (played by Kadowaki Mugi) returns home with her fiancé (played by Masato Wada), but the father's cold attitude suddenly drops the atmosphere at the dinner table. Teenagers of the same age are also at a loss. They long to go to the big city, but they don’t know where their dreams are. In the season of ignorance, Takashi is gradually attracted to the plump childhood sweetheart girl (played by Rina Asakawa), and there is infinite restlessness in his heart. In the small town, the place where Takashi and his friends from the judo club stayed most often was a simple video rental store. I don’t know who I heard from, but a well-known AV actress is coming to the town to sign for the goods. The teenagers seem to be waiting for a once-in-a-century festival... This film is the first work directed by Adachi Shin.
