Arizona Dream

Axel (Johnny Depp), a young man working in New York Actor) dreamed of an Inuit man who passed out on the ice field. The sled dog rescued him, and a red balloon kept floating in the sky... Axel's friend Paul (Vincent Gallo), who is obsessed with acting, came to visit and invited him to go to Arizona to marry his uncle Leo. Leo had been running a car business in Arizona for many years, leaving Axel and Paul to work in the car dealership. Soon Axel got acquainted with Elena (Faye Dunaway) and Grace, a mother and daughter with different personalities. In order to help Elena realize her dream of flying, Axel stayed at the home of the mother and daughter, trying to make various aircraft and starting over from the beginning with constant failures. The quarrels between the neurotic mother and daughter always accompanied him. In Axel's dream, a fish shuttles and soars in the sky... Elena finally gets a small plane. At the celebration party, Axel expresses his love to Grace, which leads to an unexpected ending. The film won the Silver Bear Award at the 1993 Berlin Film Festival.
