Cast:
Taiqin / Kyoto / is a city with a long history of thousands of years and still has a large number of historical sites. In the second half of the last century / many film studios and countless film workers left their footprints here. The famous classic "Rashomon" at home and abroad was born here. The film industry has developed rapidly / and supporting commercial streets have also emerged. However / as major film studios went bankrupt one after another / Taiqin has long since lost its mournful glory. Kyoko Higashide (played by Ebise) / who works in the local university library / is the daughter of a commercial street laundromat. Her childhood sweetheart Kouta Ryuse (played by USA) is unwilling to inherit the family's tofu shop prematurely. She wants to become a nationally famous comedian / but she continues to suffer setbacks / and the two people who have a good impression of each other also stumble. During this period / Kyoko met Eno Daichi (played by Tanaka Shotaro) / an exchange scholar from Tokyo. Eno fell in love with this simple girl at first sight and immediately launched a passionate pursuit. In the peaceful Taiqin / a love story with a touch of loss and sadness quietly unfolded... This film was co-produced by Yoji Yamada and 22 students from the Department of Imaging / Ritsumeikan University / where he serves as a visiting professor.
