In-laws celebrate the New Year

Xuelun (played by Wen Zhang) and Dandan (Liu Yun) Dandan is a young couple born in the 1980s. Sharon is in urgent need of funds to start a business after her marriage. Dandan sells the wedding house her mother bought for them in Beijing to support Sharon. The couple rents a small bungalow in a courtyard for temporary residence. The Spring Festival is approaching. Xuelun's father (played by Zhang Fengyi) and mother (played by Cong Shan) who are far away in Heilongjiang decide to come to Beijing to celebrate the New Year with their son. Dandan's mother (played by Cai Ming) in Yunnan and their family also happen to decide to go to Beijing to spend the Spring Festival. Because Dandan sold the house without telling her mother, she had to borrow it from the current owner for a few days in order to hide the fact that she sponsored Sharon from her mother. The parents of both parties arrived in Beijing one after another, and the young couple finally managed to hide the truth. However, these parents did not come to Beijing just for their children. They each had private matters to deal with, which caused many comedies in this lively year...
