Synopsis
Ashley Smith (Kate Mara), a single mother who is addicted to drugs, is taken hostage in her home by Brian Nichols (David Oyelowo), a black man who suddenly breaks in. Brian is a fugitive who escaped from prison. The police also believe that he killed the judge who was reviewing his case. However, this experience of hijacking and being hijacked ultimately allowed them to save each other's lives. This film is adapted from "The Accidental Angel", written by Ashley Smith based on personal experience.
