The Promise of This Life

The film begins with a car accident. Through the promise made by a woman to her dead husband and the experience of working hard for this promise, the film tells the story of her tenacity, perseverance, and kind personality in real life and in the moral realm, as well as the personality she displayed when facing inner torture and external difficulties. It reveals the traditional virtues of honesty and promise-keeping between people, and aims to promote truth, goodness and beauty in human life.
