Fly High with You

Thirteen-year-old Amy (played by Anna Paquin) lost her mother in a traffic accident and had to be sent to her father (played by Jeff Daniels) who had been divorced from her mother for many years. Her father runs a farm and thinks about all kinds of weird inventions all day long. Facing the grown-up Amy, he is inevitably at a loss. The two initially get along with each other strangely and alienated. Amy dealt with the pain of losing her mother and tried to adapt to farm life. One day, she found a nest of abandoned wild goose eggs in a bush. She carefully took them home and successfully hatched a nest of baby geese. However, due to government regulations that wild geese cannot be domesticated, Amy must release these baby geese back into the wild. Her father came up with a wonderful idea to help Amy. He made a glider for her and let her learn to fly with the geese. Then during the migration season, he escorted "Mother Goose" Amy and led the geese to fly to Lake Ontario. In the process, the hearts of the father and daughter began to be closely connected...
