Galileo Special

This episode SP is Chapter 0 of the "Detective Galileo" series, based on a case three years before the TV version of Manabu Yukawa and Kaoru Utsumi met. Late one night three years ago, a secret room murder occurred in an island hut. The victim was stabbed in the chest and back with a sharp object in the locked house, and the hut where he lived was also burned down. Junpei Kusanagi (played by Ikki Kitamura), who has become a police officer, returns to his alma mater Teito University and invites his old classmate Yukawa Manabu (played by Masaharu Fukuyama) whom he has not seen for 12 years to help solve the case. Yukawa and his party came to the vicinity of the crime scene and looked for clues to the case while enjoying the beach scenery. As the investigation of the murder case progresses, Yukawa, who only wants to restore the physical principles of the case, gradually approaches the truth of the case, but at this time he has not yet realized that the human heart is also a science... The film also intersperses a period of Yukawa and Kusanagi's past. Blown by the sea breeze, Kusanagi tells Yukawa's student Shionoya (played by Nagasawa Masami) about a case that made him and the young Yukawa (played by Haruma Miura) become involved in their sophomore year... SP is adapted from the two stories of "Manipulation" and "Fall" in the series of novels, and was released on the same day as the theatrical version of "The Devotion of Suspect X".
