Belle

It tells the story of a mixed-race girl named Bei Er who was adopted by a noble family and influenced the abolition of slavery. The heroine Bell is the illegitimate daughter of British Navy Captain John Lindson and a Caribbean slave. She was later adopted by her father's uncle, Lord Murray. Although she grew up in an aristocratic family, her dark complexion was a constant reminder of her origins. And she used her own power to work with Lord Murray to promote the abolition of slavery in Britain.
