Letter Story

Jennifer (Laura Dern) is a documentary producer who is producing a documentary about the living conditions of women around the world. One day, Jennifer unexpectedly received a call from her mother Nate (Ellen Burstyn). Knight told Jennifer that he discovered a diary she wrote when she was 13 years old. The diary records the time Jennifer spent at summer camp with the riding coach Mrs. G (Elizabeth Debicki) and the running coach Bill (Jason Ritter). Jennifer's childish records revealed some news that made Knight very uncomfortable. With the encouragement of Knight and her fiancé Martin (Common), Jennifer decided to find Mrs. G and Bill and ask what happened at that time. Little did they know that this move opened a Pandora's box of Jennifer's memory.
