After the Central Red Army went north to fight against Japan, the White Army made a comeback. The red base area changed color overnight, and everywhere was filled with blood. Yumei (played by Tian Hua)'s hometown is in white terror. The party organization was severely damaged, and the Red Guard cadres and Red Army family members who had no time to be transferred were brutally murdered.
