The King of Lanling

In ancient times, there was a tribe in the southwest border of my country. The young and handsome Lanling (played by Luo Lanzuo) is the son of the female leader of the Phoenix tribe (played by Yang Liping). He is deeply favored by girls, especially the smart and beautiful Yingying (played by Ning Ning), who loves him deeply. In order to resist the covetousness of the neighboring Black Eagle tribe, the Phoenix tribe wanted a male leader who was brave and good at fighting. Before Lanling's death, Lanling's mother sprayed her blood on Lanling. From then on, Lanling recovered his kind nature... The film won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the Santa Clarida International Film Festival in Los Angeles in 1995 and the Best Cinematography Award at the 15th Hawaii International Film Festival in 1995.
