O'Malley is a senior naval officer and a single mother with two children. She has a relationship with Nelson, a senior general and combat hero. However, she soon discovers that Nelson is married and quickly breaks off their relationship. Just when O'Malley is trying to start her life again, one night, she is awakened from her sleep by an armed intruder. After a struggle, she shoots the bbb. The court ruled that she was manslaughter, but the culprit was Nelson. The military was afraid of the negative impact of the scandal, so it decided to convict O'Malley of murder and sentence her to prison. Her command is now entirely in the hands of Captain Walker, and her assigned defense attorney will defend her through the court-martial process to gain her freedom.
