Chess to Win

After completing the feature film about the founder of Facebook "The Social Network" for Sony Columbia, David Fincher will continue to work with them to shoot a biopic "Pawn Sacrifice" about the life of American chess master Bob Fischer. Bob Fisher is an iconic figure in the American chess community. He represented the United States in the 1972 World Chess Championship Challenge held in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, and defeated the former world chess champion Boris Spassky of the Soviet Union. The script for "Abandoned" was written by Steven Knight, and producer Gail Katz began planning the film for Columbia several years ago. In addition to him, Tobey Maguire, who is rumored to star in the film, will also serve as a producer.
