Uniforms

Tailor Xiaojian (played by Liang Hongli) lives in a small town in the north. His father is ill in bed, and the factory where his father works is undergoing a transfer and reorganization process and no longer protects her workers. Xiaojian's daily work is nothing more than modifying clothing styles and copying famous brands, until the owner of a police uniform suffered a car accident and left the police uniform in his shop. Xiao Jian put on this police uniform on a rainy night, and something wonderful happened. He met the beautiful video store clerk Sha Sha (played by Zeng Xueqiong). Xiao Jian approached Sha Sha under a completely different identity and tried to start a romance with her on a fictional basis. So Xiao Jian used another identity outside of his job as a tailor to make up for the lack of a cramped life. He dealt with illegal vehicles on the street to subsidize his expenses. He wore a police uniform to teach people who had looked down on him, while avoiding the real police... This film is the debut of director Diao Yinan, with Jia Zhangke serving as a consultant.
