Kanan the Swordsman

Podiyankulam, a remote village in southern Tamil Nadu, has a special tradition: whoever can jump from the cliff and cut the fish thrown from the shore in half will have the "Village Sword" (Village Sword); those who choose to accept the challenge but fail to cut the fish in half will be beheaded by the villagers.
