California Killer

In order to write a book about serial killers, yuppie writer Brian Kaiser (David Duchovny) and his photographer girlfriend Carly (Michelle Forbes) plan to use California as their destination to re-walk the famous killer route in the United States. On the way, Brian picks up a young couple, Earl (Brad Pitt) and Alice (Juliette Lewis), to share the expensive gas bill, but Carly has always been suspicious of these two sloppy and lazy young people. Sure enough, as the journey unfolded, careful Carly discovered through various clues that the young lovers were not as simple as they seemed, and there seemed to be some unknown secrets hidden behind them. The two people who followed the killer's footsteps Qianli Zhaozhao didn't realize that the real killer was lurking beside them...
