The national army suffered frequent defeats. The Li Quanshan Regiment of the National Army learned the news and rushed to Luding Bridge at full speed to provide support. With the encouragement of the Central Military Commission, Lao Liao formed a commando team of 22 people. Lao climbed on the iron rope and finally occupied the Luding Bridge. Li Quanshan chose to evacuate. The main force of the Red Army finally successfully crossed the river.
