Gold Rush Dream in the North

In Canada in 1898, the Klondike Gold Rush was continuing to burn. At the end of summer, Emily Meyer (Nina Hoss) and six immigrants who also came from Germany set out from the Ashcroft Station at the northernmost end of the railway and headed for Dawson City in the Yukon Territory where gold mines were recently discovered. In order to save money, these inexperienced gold prospectors chose a route across the country from south to north.
