This film tells the story of Qianchuan Village, Qianyang County, Baoji, which is facing a general election. Young villager Li Xiangnan has embarked on the road to prosperity by relying on advanced dwarf apple planting technology. As one of the candidates, he wants to promote new technologies in the village, while another candidate, village director Lao Geng, wants to preserve the old arborescent apple trees that he led everyone to plant 20 years ago.
