Midnight Horror

The pain of being abandoned by his wife has plunged policeman Frank (Al Pacino) into an abyss of pain and cannot extricate himself. Every day, only nicotine and alcohol can give him salvation. The occurrence of a murder broke the peace of the city, and Frank and his partner Sherman (John Goodman) were responsible for the case. Through various investigations, Frank discovered that the murderer was a woman who looked for prey through recruitment notices in newspapers, and then brutally killed them. In order to track down the murderer, Frank forged his identity and published an advertisement in the newspaper. A woman named Helen (Ellen Barkin) appeared in front of him. Almost all the evidence proved that Helen was the real culprit in the case, but at this moment Frank found that he had really become dependent on and attached to Helen. At the same time, danger quietly came to him.
