In a small town in Brittany, France in 1980, there was no genuine vinyl rock music, only pirated self-recorded mixtapes. Philip and his brother run an underground radio station together. The confident brother serves as the radio host. He talks about rock eloquently and attracts everyone's attention. Philip, who has a talent for mixing, can only stay behind the scenes, silent and marginal. As his military service was approaching, Philip, who lived under his brother's halo, was anxious to complete his mixing work. It wasn't until he went to Berlin to serve as a soldier that he gradually realized that he was not the only one trapped by the environment. Set in the golden age of rock music, on the eve of the fall of the Berlin Wall, emerging director Vincent Meyer Cardona uses the protagonist's murmuring narration, vivid photography and editing, and many rock hits such as Happy Division and Iggy Pop to create a coming-of-age film full of romantic nostalgia, youth and melancholy. The feelings of youth are always poetry. The unspeakable feelings, confusion and expectations for the future are all expressed on the tape, mixed into a rock chapter that belongs to the young generation.
