My Land, My People

Mahan (played by Shahrukh Khan) is an Indian working and living in the United States. Having been separated from his family for many years, Mahan felt very lonely and missed his wet nurse in his hometown. One day, he decided to embark on a journey back home. However, when he arrived at his destination, he discovered that his wet nurse had already gone to a village called "The Land of Footprints." So Mahan hit the road again. On the way, Mahan met a beautiful Indian girl named Jeet (Gayatri Joshi), and the two fell in love. Mahan wanted to take Kit to the United States, but Kit's family insisted that the two must complete the wedding ceremony there. In this way, Mahan settled in Kit's hometown. After getting along with the locals day and night, Mahan discovered that this seemingly peaceful village actually hid many hidden dangers and disturbances.
