God Goes to the Village

Due to failure in college entrance examination, urban youth Hirano Courage (played by Shota Sometani) who has just bid farewell to high school stands at a crossroads in life. He was accidentally attracted by the beautiful girl in the forestry trainee's promotional materials, so he went to a remote mountain village in Mie County that didn't even have a mobile phone signal to receive a one-year forestry training course. At the beginning, he was careless and lacked motivation, so he was scolded by his senior Iida Yuki (played by Hideaki Ito). Just as Courage was preparing to escape, an unexpected encounter with the cover beauty Naoki Ishii (played by Masami Nagasawa) made him return to the dormitory by mistake. After the preliminary training was over, Courage followed Iida-senpai to the Kamigo Village and began to practice and study on the spot with the master (Ken Mitsuishi).
