Four Weddings and a Funeral

Although Charles (Hugh Grant) is a frequent guest at weddings, he has inexplicable doubts about getting married. At a certain country wedding, he fell in love with the American girl Kerry (Andy MacDowell) at first sight, and spent a wonderful night with her regardless of his friends' gossip about her. The next day, Kerry returned to the United States without saying a word, and Charles was disturbed. Two months later, the two met again at a wedding in London. Kerry was about to get married, but under her initiative, the two spent the night together again. In another month, Charles received a wedding invitation from Kerry. When choosing gifts, he met Kerry again. She told him about her romantic history, which made Charles want to propose to her. After attending Kerry's wedding dejectedly, Charles accepted the confession of the girl he didn't love. It wasn't until a certain funeral came that "I love you so hard to say" that he decided to muster up the courage to confess his love to Kerry, whom he met again.
