The Big Shot on the Street of Notre Dame

This is a funny version of "Rififi". Two thieves lead a group of gangsters in a grand theft plan. They planned to dig a tunnel from an apartment to a nearby store, but it ended up digging into another room of the apartment. It was just a small mistake. Anyway, these stupid thieves made all the mistakes they should have made, and the safe they wanted to steal seemed to be within easy reach, but they just didn't have the ability to succeed. The film has top-notch performances, and everyone gets a chance to shine. A sequel was released in 1987. To a certain extent, this film created the comedy genre of "Thieves everywhere". Such films in many countries were influenced by this film. The United States has launched two official remakes.
