This film combines realism and science fiction into one. STBO, a contagious disease spread through the country, is spread through emotionless sexual activity. Thieves Mark and Hans owe an American woman money and she gives them two weeks to pay back. They planned to steal a drug designed to treat AIDS-like symptoms and then resell it at a high price. So they hired Alex, a young man who was breaking up with his 16-year-old girlfriend, Lisa. But before the plan could be put into effect, he became obsessed with Mark's mistress Anna. Lisa did not give up, and she came to Paris on the day they started, making things more complicated... Of course, this is a tragedy. Love that burns fast but lasts forever. This is the second work of director Leos Carax after "Boy Meets Girl", continuing his focus on themes such as youth and loneliness. Five years after this film, the classic film history - "Lovers at the New Bridge" was born.
