The Birth of a Miracle In a kingdom ruled by the brutal King Herod, in a poor village in Nazareth, in order to maintain a stable life, teenage Mary was betrothed to a carpenter named Joseph, whom she had never met, by her parents. Little did she know that her destiny would be full of extraordinary things. One day, the Annunciation Angel Gabriel appeared in front of Mary and told Mary that she had been chosen by God to give birth to the Son Jesus, who would become the Savior Christ, the Messiah that the Jews believed in. Despite her hesitation, Mary firmly accepted her mission. However, she soon could no longer hide her pregnancy. Not only was she despised by her tribe, she was unable to face her fiancé and parents, and was even more likely to be sentenced to death under Massachine law. Fortunately, the angel Gabriel appeared in Joseph's dream and confirmed Mary's seemingly absurd story. The kind-hearted Joseph bravely stood by Mary's side to support her, regardless of what others said. The prophecy that the Messiah was about to be born spread in Jerusalem, and the suspicious King Herod felt an unprecedented threat. He ordered everyone to return to their hometowns for population registration in order to find the prophesied Messiah. Joseph was forced to return to Bethlehem, and Mary decided to accompany him. During a journey of more than 110 miles, they not only had to cross dangerous mountainous areas and wading through fast-flowing rivers, but also passed through barren deserts.
