The Night Editor

A newspaper editor tells some newspaper stories every night on the radio show. This time the story he told is: a police detective, although he loves his wife and son deeply, has an affair with a social butterfly. One day they parked their car on a remote roadside and happened to witness a murder. Due to a guilty conscience, the police detective did not arrest the murder suspect or call the police. Later, the police station put him in charge of the case, and she discovered that only by testifying directly could he catch the murder suspect and prevent innocent people from being wronged.
